Hello! I’m a creative, a wordsmith and interpersonal communications connoisseur ironically based in "friendly" New York City. I am open to networking and/or hearing about new positions, collaborations and/or freelancing opportunities.
During a stroll for something light and sweet, this podcasts came about to be a way to speak on my journey so far and offer some general advice for anyone who can possibly relate. The easiest way to explain it would be by tuning in.
This flash podcast was created because it was realized that many only see the artist/fun side of creatives and creators. But when these people get together amongst each other, conversations tend to be more tied to the life/heart than in the arts. When presenting oneself to the public eye, sometimes being vulnerable and showing common traits and struggles isn’t always available. But where do you think the art comes from?
When being creative, many seek a balance between doing what they have to do and doing what they want to do. Not everyone is privileged enough to work on their medium of art all day without break from responsibilities and acts of living that are part of their survival. When it comes down to spending management, many can’t freely fund their crafts. No one should be torn between presenting themselves and having the necessities for their living. You shouldn’t have to come out of pocket for bringing the crowd and being the show. Now, NYC locals and visitors every first Saturday of the month won’t have to think about spending anything but a little time to commute to the Morningside Heights Library where they can perform/support for free and network in a welcoming and elevating atmosphere.
